Yard Waste Pick-up
Yard waste will be picked up minimally every two weeks on Monday, beginning in April. Additional pick-ups will occur when village work schedules permit. Trimmings should be less than 4" in diameter and yard waste should be bagged. Bags do not need to be tied.
There are upcoming changes to pick up of recyclables.
Recycling: Computers, Televisions, Electronics, and Other Hazardous Waste
lso effective immediately, Wisconsin landfills will no longer be accepting computer components. With the change to high definition, more and more televisions are winding up in landfills. As many television components are recyclable, landfills will no longer be accepting televisions and CRTs Waushara County Parks and Solid Waste has developed a disposal plan No computer monitor, printers, hard drives, keyboards, printers or any other computer part may be placed in youre trash cart for recycling.
Waushara County Parks and Solid Waste will be accepting these and other hazardous materials at their building in Wautoma at N2402 South Townline Road. Follow this link to a great brochure detailing recycling in Waushara County.
Brush Pick up
Brush is picked up by the Village Streets and Maintenance Department spring through fall only, beginning in April and continuing until October. Dates will be posted on the Calendar. Previous years' pick ups have been on alternating Mondays. This is subject to change.
